Imagine you’re in the woods. It’s dark. You’re lost and alone, and more than a little frightened. Up ahead you see a flickering light, and the sound of unearthly voices. As you slowly approach you are able to make out faces: ghastly grins dancing in the shadows. Suddenly a hand reaches out and grabs you!
Before you know it you are seated on a log before a campfire and nine gay men are telling you their favorite ghost stories!
Talking ravens! Drag queens from beyond the grave! A taxi ride that ends in the afterlife! An aging vampire with denture fangs!
A diabolical invocation to find the perfect boyfriend! Singing! Dancing! Wigs! Stage blood!

In Tales from the Pants, Captain Smartypants draws from the rich tradition of ghost stories, urban legends, gothic novels, and horror comics in all their lurid, hysterical glory. Some tales are hilarious, some touching, some startling, some downright slapstick. But they all have Captain Smartypants’ trademark, unforgettable stamp. You’ll laugh. You’ll scream. You’ll squirm.
